Yay, we made it into the Arctic Sounder.

"Sisualik may see the biggest population boom since its heyday this summer. Descendants of Ruth and Yiyuk Harris are planning a family reunion on the spot Aug. 6-7 and hoping their more than 300 cousins show up."

Hopefully, I'll have a chance to talk to some of the eldest "cousins" about their lives with Aaka and Aapa at Sisualik, like Lena Hanna, Taiyaaq Biesmeier, Grover Harris and Herbert Foster. What stories they must have about growing up with them.

Then we can write a family history book for everyone to see. The family tree is almost complete. I am missing only a very few grandchildren's families. Please check the Facebook page under the discussion site to make sure your family is listed. We don't want to leave anyone out!

T-shirts and Bake Sales!

We are hosting a Bake Sale on Friday the 16th at the Kotzebue Post Office from 11:00 am until we sell out for those of you in Kotzebue!

Please bring something for our Fund raising committee to sell at the Bake Sale!



Also, our Family Reunion T-shirts are available to purchase. The cost is $12 each and the sizes available are Youth XS all the way to Adult 3XL.



Each family will have a different color assigned to them, so when you send your sizes, your color will reflect who you "belong" to!

We figured it would be easy to post events, meetings, and photos of our family here for everyone to see.
